Laminate flooring is installed in a floating method. It is not glued or nailed down to the subfloor. Therefor, one it should be pretty easy compared to other floors to remove and two it is not a suitable subfloor for a new vinyl flooring.
Save yourself the grief of having issues with your new vinyl floor by removing the laminate and doing the work to prepare the subfloor correctly.
It is kinda like painting a car. Don’t get the paint out till the preparation work is completed.
